Knorr Master of Seasoning 2018 came to a close with an exciting final in Karachi on 12th October. The thrilling contest saw 15 chefs take on two challenging rounds, which saw them cook an appetizer and a main course. After creating two delicious dishes, Chef Ibrar Ali was crowned Master of Seasoning 2018.

Chef Mukrram Ali, Executive Chef Middle East, Pakistan & Sri Lanka at Unilever Food Solutions, headed up the judging panel for the two challenges. Chefs, who had flown in from across Pakistan, were evaluated on the presentation, taste, hygiene and use of Unilever Food Solutions products. Chef Ibrar’s two dishes of Baked Swiss Chicken and Slow Roast with Pistachio Sauce earned the highest scores with the judges.
Chef Ibrar scooped the Knorr Master of Seasoning title and PKR500,000. He was joined in the prize-giving ceremony by Chef Jahangir Hussain in second place and winning PKR200,000 and in third place, Chef Nobeel Akhtar, who took home PKR100,000.
Chef Jahangir served up Rice Cake with Pistachio Crusted Chicken and a Spicy Chicken Roulade, while Chef Nobeel impressed with his Chicken Roulade with Green Salad, Coriander, Almonds & Pistachio and Stuffed Chicken with Risotto, Mashed Potatoes & Vegetables.
